Unique jewellery inspired by the beautiful side of science
The morphologica range attempts to capture some of the beauty found in science- the shape of single cells viewed under a microscope, intricate networks of cells important for learning and memory, and even the curving structure of the brain itself.
Each piece starts its life as a sketch on paper, then is modelled digitally and cut by laser beam, before finally being assembled into a truly unique piece.
The designer behind morphologica is completing a PhD in neuroscience, and is based in Sydney, Australia.
